Loved that show and all the characters. Funny enough, in later years, Bob became the subject of LOTS of false urban legends about being a WWII combat hero. I guess being Captain Kangaroo wasn't enough for some idiots. [:D]

When I was a little tech, I wouldn't miss a Captain Kangaroo show. Great Ethics, Morals, Honesty, Integrity training. Too bad there isn't a modern example of KG for todays kiddos to be exposed to.

Mr Rodgers is in reruns. They're trying to "update" them.
i.e. not have the speedy delivery guy bring a betamax tape for everyone to watch.
