.410's are great... I agree, too bad the shells are sooooo pricey. Here's my Remington 1100 .410 with ALL the barrels (Skeet, IC, Mod, & Full):

That's what I've found... They all seem to ignore the small-bores. I'd really like to have a synthetic stock for mine. [:p]

[:D] [:D] [:D] [^] Nice little dove gun...[;)] Does that bring back memeories,of my first dove hunt. I used to pop the quail with the old 42 no sweat.so when the invite to try dove came on ,I figgered what does it take to whack a stupid pidgeon ...Right? [^] well and the old 42 and I had alot of fun that day but just left a large amount of birds with naked butts judging by the feathers that kept falling.....from the birds that didn't...[?]...the quail always fell..[?]... So home to exchange the 42 for the model 12 12ga. and get revenge for being made a full of all afternoon. [:D] [:D] [:D] When ya start knowing fly by dove with the 410 no bragging is needed, just a Good Big Grin.[:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] your old mossey is nice when they put the big fore grip on 'em they messed up the 410 I have a newer one and keep looking for a cheap round replacement, guess the old tootsie roll 42 spoiled me.[;)]

Have fun with that one Larry! I love the little guns!!! Only gun I ever had stolen was a 11-48 410 that was in my brothers house when it got hit! I bought Wendy a 1100 28 guage with a skeet barrel and a full barrel about the first year we were married. I also HAD read that HAD a Savage/Fox 410 with the box that I bet a lawyer I could kill a limit of doves inside a box of shells.....had one left over and the limit was 12! If you're going to shoot it much, get yourseld a Mec 600 or 650 and roll your own!!! 410's can be a pain(28's too) if using anything larger than 7.5's to load with!!! GHD
