Which would do more damage on a woodchuck or a coyote?

I beleive balistic tips fly better and wreck more meat (considering equal weights and velocities). But,..you are talking a relatively little projectile. Either will smoke the animals you asked about. I personaly would shoot the balistic tips. 90% of my bullet inventory is balistic tips.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

270DS, After doing extensive testing(probably enough to be called the resident 17 guru, authority, expert or whatever) the Hornady and Remington ammos perform better than the CCI in all guns tested!!!Remington and Hornady will have almost the same POI and accuracy whereas the CCI will be right, and higher than those other two with double (or worse) the group size!!! Anybody else seen this? As far as killing efficiency I can say that I have not killed with the CCI ammo!!! Don't feel confident enough with it to shoot an animal with it!!!!Does that explain it? GHD
