noticed yesterday that an old dog town(not a big one about 80-100acres) that Dad and I got rid of about ten years ago has p dogs trying to move back into it,took us two years or so to get rid of them, anybody who thinks the damn things should be on an endangered list ought to have their head shoved down a p dog hole.I think there is only two or three in there now,I took care of one of them this afternoon with a .243 loaded with 55gr nosler balistic tip at about 4000fps makes a nice red vapor cloud,I like to hunt p dogs(on the neighbors land) but I dont want them on my land, ever try to ride a horse chasing a cow through a dog town is quite interesting and hard on the cow and the horse and me.
rant off now

    * 'em, cowdoc! On my brothers' farm back east, I used to love sniping bunnies out the back window of his house once the snow fell. A round, brown object among sticks (trees) with a white background - they stood out like a liberal among decent, honest Americans! I loved the "splat factor"... how big the fan of red specks on white snow a .250 Savage (natch) loaded with 87 grain 3,000 fps bullets would leave. I whittled the bunny population down in short order!

I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.--Voltaire~Secret Select Society Of Suave Stylish Smoking Jackets~

Cowdoc, Wish I was close enough to help rid your ground!!! We aren't blessed with them here, just groundhogs making "Groundhog Hiltons" in the hayfields and groundhog "subway" entrances to run the tractors or eqiupment in!! They will cause a hay wagon to turn over!!! Been There, Done That! GHD
