Oops I did it again, again...

Yup, you may have recognized the title, but with an extra again. Cause I did it again for the second time. I was at my most favorite place in the whole wide world, the gun shop, and on the counter was a fresh new used gun. And now I'm the proud new owner of another Marlin 30-30win. This one is a 336TS, a little different than my other, a little shorter to.

Why is it that every time I see a gun and I have money in my pocket, I always have to buy the darn thing? Is there something wrong with me, do I need help. Is there a gun-o-holics anonymous aound here? Does anyone else have this problem?

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Hey, if you got the ability to do with why do without. Aint a damn thing wrong with buying more guns. At least your not wasting your time smacking a little white ball with a stick and chasing it all over a field trying to make the stupid thing fall into a gopher hole...

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

Lee, I think you are just a slow learner. Don't worry though, I predict that in 25 years or so, you will be able to pass some of them by.

Well, since about all I buy is ammo, I don't have this affliction very often (especially not for .30 WCF firearms), but somehow most every trip to a show, shop or auction results in the acquisition of a combination of lead, brass & volatiles . . . .

leeblackman: don't feel bad you are not alone! just brought a new ruger in 480 this week and almost a used Redlabel today but the guy would'nt trade with me ,,, maybe we should start a help line , that we could call in to to have some one try to talk us out of buying when we get the urge only thing is they would probably give us reason why we should instead of should'nt

A little while ago, On the way to the range I bought a Win. 3030 model 94. On the way home bought a Rem. 1187. Both from a yard sale. Now I am looking to change barrels and stocks on the Rem. You are NOT alone. I agree with He Dog, except it might take a little longer than that. LOL

If I knew then, what I know now.

Yes YOU have a problem. but I know just the ticket for fixing it. You go down to the local post office and have them ship this brand new weapon to MY FFL dealer. Then I will have the problem and you will be happy.

I try to buy one gun a month but generally end up with more. It isn't a sickness, it is a blessing.
