West of Palm Beach about 12 miles. Actually I live in 'THE ACREAGE', but we got no post office so we have to use Royal Palms. Still in "THE DUMBEST COUNTY IN THE USA" though.( last year it was blue hairs that couldn't vote, this year we're teaching terrorists to fly). As for the TAG thing, near as I can figure, people put their license plates on deer after they shoot 'em,(some kind of Yankee ritural)Don't know how they get their pickups home without a ticket! Next thing you knpw, they'll outlaw 'gator huntin'

OK, here's the deal, talked to a friend about this 'TAG/LICENSE' thing. Seems you don't have to go to the tag office to get the license, or the license office to get the tag,(get this) you can do it all at K-MART.Wonder if I can pay that parking ticket there. I still say that a quart jar of smooth, and a six-pack IS handycapped.Where'd I put that damned ticket????????????[This message has been edited by pops401 (edited 12-08-2001).]

Kind of reminds me of Justin Wilsons story about some cajuns that were complaining about duck season not being long enough to the game warden. He told them he couldn't do it because they already hunted 365 days a year and he couldn't make the year any longer!

You guys be careful if you come to South Carolina to hunt. There are rules that I'm not sure as to what they mean.South Carolina has a "point system" where if a hunter commits a violation, he gets points on his record (sort-of like drivers' license points for moving violations).I was reading down the list of violations and their related points and got to Number 12, which reads: "Killing or attempting to kill or molest deer from a motorboat--14 points." Now I'm pretty clear about the killing part, but what exactly do they mean by "molest"? And if you tried to "molest a deer" while not in a motorboat (say you're just in a canoe) do you get the same number of points? It must not be too bad of a thing though, since it only carries a penalty of 14 points--you don't lose your hunting privilages till you reach 18 points....

I'd pay to see that "molest a deer in a canoe trick"
