Cooper City, Florida-AP -- A south Florida woman faces animal abandonment charges, after police found 67 dead kittens and cats inside a refrigerator at the woman's unoccupied home.Officials were tipped off by a neighbor, who complained of a foul odor coming from the Cooper City residence.The woman told authorities she had been having personal problems that kept her from attending to the animals.Police also found two dozen cats and a dog loose in the home. An animal care officer said the animals were very thin and some appeared to be starving.A local police captain says "It was foul, believe me."
