If you give her the slip, make sure you hang on to the ATM card and the credit cards!

Great idea. I have a trip planned in February. Let us know how it turns out and if any of the shops are worth visiting. Good luck.

Stop by and see Glen at "The Pawn Place". 5624 W. Charleston. He has always treated me right. Tell him CBXJEFF from Indiana says hi.

There are at least two that have shooting ranges & rent full auto sub-machine guns.(You have to buy your ammo from them). Sorry I can't give names or locations but you should be able to find them in the phone book. There are a lot of places to buy guns but note there is a lot of room to bargan on the prices.

Please check out a Pawn shop called Superpawn. I have never been there but some of their web prices look pretty good.

I lived there briefly. Go to The Gun Store. You can rent and fire full-auto there. I fired the Uzi, Thompson, M3, and AK-47.

After you go toy shopping don't forget to go play the game I always play in Vegas. I have never won any money, but it sure feels like you're winning. I think they call it Lap Dance.[This message has been edited by biggunr (edited 12-15-2001).]

If you find one, let me know. I've lived here for 1 1/2 years and have yet to find any real bargains or real collectible stuff. Just lots of the same things you can buy anywhere in a big town. The Clark County laws are fairly stringent. EVERY handgun must be registered, CCW is for 2 guns only. They have to be specified as copncealed carry pieces, and ONLY those two are acceptable. There's one place in town that actually charges $98.00 for them to handle the paperwork on for a transfer that happens on a site like this.

Was at "The Gun Store" this May, rented an MP-5, Thompson, and Grease gun. It's around 2700 Tropicana Blvd, if I remember right. Just bang a right at the MGM grand on Tropicana, and it's a couple miles down the road. Fun stuff.

One of the best gun stores I have ever seen is Shooter's World at 7350 West Cheyenne Avenue. I have not been there in a decade or more, but remember it as a great place.

I am glad this was posted! I will be there in early January, and will be looking for a place to spend time while my wife is busy losing money. Thanks for all the great posts.

There's a new place called the Beach. Very nice looking staff wearing very small bathing suits. Lots of young kids and loud music, but surely better than a long night at the tables.
