Anybody here watch Arena 2 Football?

The wife and I went to the Birmingham Steeldogs first home game of the season last night. They played, er, slaughtered the Mobile Wizards (sorry Pelican ).

I think I like it better than pro ball. Much more entertaining, lots of action.

My Mom lives in Tulsa, and her Tulsa Talons barely beat us last week in Tulsa.

Arena 2 isn't televised and the salaries and such are lower than Arena 1.

We only have a few special years with our children in which they desire our time, attention, and love. After that time is over, it is gone forever, and we will be the ones that desire their time, attention, and love. Make those few, short years count -

    I watch the Arizona Rattlers a few times each year. I like arena football better than NFL. A lot more passing and scoring.

    We have arena football here in Sioux City, Iowa. We have the Sioux City Bandits. Arena football is GREAT! I like the Sioux City Explorers baseball team and I LOVE the Bandits but the Sioux City Musketeers hockey team is just so much darn fun to watch. There's something about local sports (not high school sports) that do a great job for filling that void created by the fact that we don't have any good local college athletic teams. There's NOTHING like watching a couple of excellent college football teams go at it live but the Sioux City Bandits will definitely do in a pinch.
