anyone use, UMC ammo?

Just got my wife some UMC ( Remington ) .38spc 130gr. This was our first time using this ammo and it's very dirty. She has a SS S&W, it looks black after 60 rds. This ammo was cheap 50/$6.78 Anyone have the same problem?? Is this the norm for UMC ammo?

Use it for TP (target practice) I clean the gun anyway- for the price-o.k.. Isn't as dirty as blue dot.
