I've had a compaq computer for 6 years and no problems.
Have a HP and can't get any help without calling a number which charges me because the modem isn't working. On line- with the other computer- I get a run around. I'll never buy a Hewlett Packard Again! What a bunch of bullsh77t. The modem isin't working and they tell me to get on line for help-DUH! The darned thing is in warranty and I can't get help!
Any ideas?
I learned something today- ask questions, and know you can get help!

I have had severe problems with every compaq I have seen. Let's just say I build my own now...
