    Try and make a long story as short as possible.

    My sister and mother are on the outs, I have tried to stay out of it.

    I always send my sister a Christmas gift.

    This year she returned it to me and said she didn't like the item.
    I sent something else and she sent me a sort of rude note saying don't bother, I ask for nothing in return nor expect anything.

    I also sent my Nephew 25 dollars at Christmas, she returned that too saying he was too old to get that. He is 26.

    My mother was recently admitted to the Hospital and called me, I drove several hours to get there and called my sister who lives in the same town, I left a message and she chose not to respond at all.

    When my mother was released I called my sister again and left a message to let her know Mom was OK and home and she still refused to even acknowledge the message.

    While I was there I visited an ran into my nephew and slipped him 25 dollars and told him it was for Christmas. I didn't want him to feel left out and didn't know if he was aware that she sent back the money nor did I tell him that.

    My sister just sent me a message saying effectively to stay the hell out of their lives.

    I think I will have to comply, strange I never had any issues with her prior to these. She is the only blood family I left have other then my mom.
