Grading Standards

Are different ages of firearms graded at different standards? In other words, is a "excellent" graded firearm 25 years old graded with the same quality standards as a 100 year old firearm also in "excellent" condition or is there more leniency towards quality on the older firearm? Grading standard from Blue Book of Gun Values.

All grading is the same. A gun is 80% at 100 years or at 5 years.
The extra value comes from the individual collector and what he is willing to pay, rarity, historic value, ect.
