Just went out and picked up the local buy sell and trade paper and there are several good deals listed. The best is a Winchester mod 70 xtr sporter in 300 win mag. with a 4x12 leopold mounted on top for $500.00

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

    Dang!! The scope is worth that. You better hurry and go look at it. Of course, it may have been owned by someone who used to get a lot of flat tires and didn't have a jack handle or something like that. Can't tell without looking. Good luck.

    I just called and talked to the guys wife, she said hell be home in 20 minutes. Im gonna call back and try to get him to trade me even up for a colt king cobra 6" stainless.

    just called back and talked to the guy with the rifle, told him Id give him the colt and 50. bucks I just got me a new 300 mag. wooohoooo

    Though I did pick up a Liberty Model 10/22,
    mint condiditon, for $65.

    Have a xtr in .257 Roberts. When you fire that thing in .300 Win mag, You may won't to have a buddy shoot it first. When he comes to, He may be able to tell you about, May not. Good Luck. It is the finest looking rifle Winchester has made since 1964.

    Good job....I'm glad to see that good deals are still out there. Now, if you lived in Cal, you would get together with the owner and both of you would take off work and go find a dealer with a FFL that was willing to do the transaction and fill out all the paperwork and then turn over the gun to the dealer. Then if you check out, in ten days you could go in and pick your gun up.
