Beautiful Republic of Kalifornia

My job has again brought me into the people' republic of KA, I'm here for four days doing a quality audit for a defense industry supplier. I'm about half way between Ontario and LA.
For myself, when I'm in Kansas I'm generally of the opinion that as far as I'm concerned, Kalifornia and it's fruits and nuts can go ahead and slide off in the ocean and I really wouldn't care less. But when I'm here I don't feel that way, because I don't want to slide off with them.
Okay, enough for of the humor, I have to admit KA does impress me when I'm here. The countryside is beautiful. I get put up in some great hotels with teriffic food. The traffic isn't much to my liking, but if it weren't for all the liberal thinking occupants I think it would be a nice place to live.
I was wondering if maybe we could get enough people together and liberate the place. It shouldn't take much, after all, the people aren't very well armed. If enough of us gather at the Arizona and Nevada boarder, we could either all jump up and down to see about creating new ocean front property, or come up with alternative solutions....
To err is human, to moo is bovine.

I agree. I spent over 20 years out there and it is a nice place in many ways. Except, their definition of freedom seems to be government regulation of absolutely everything. Except illegal aliens, of course, who get away with murder. Actually, you might feel freer there if you pretended to be a border-jumper with no I.D. Have a XXX beer for me, will ya. I don't do them anymore.
