"new" "toy"

Picked up a CZ-70 at a gunshow this weekend (great show in Berea OH, incidentally) and so far am quite impressed. For $105, tax included, I got the gun, two mags, and a cheap case. I am told that there are replacement grips and some parts available to make it a bit slicker. It looks perfect for concealed and carry (if OH ever passes the bill) so I may check the parts out. Of course it isn't new or a toy, but I'll have fun.

So what are your experiences with this guN?

1922 FN Browning 7.65 ACP. Well it's neither new nor a toy but I got it anyhow. I like the old ones. This one in particular because it has Nazi proofs and hardwood grips, instead of the more common plastic (bakelite, rubber, whatever) Browning grips. This is also part two of the "post a pic experiment"

WOW.. That gun looks pretty good.. If ya dont mind me asking what did ya have to give for it? This is too strange. I won an auction for one too. $205.00 for one with the black grips #2744795.Yep the guy sent me email saying I won the auction through gunbroker. So I emailed him asking for mail info to send payment. After a couple days he didnt reply so I sent another email. Still no reponse. I clicked through my watch auctions for I had a couple that were ready to end and I wanted to see if I was still interested and seen that auction in my Auctions I won selection. So I clicked on it and seen that he moved the gun to a different auction #2790813,,lol go figure that one out,, I dont think he can do that. can he? At any rate I have 5 days to wait for the seller not to respond before I can send my email with the info I have to administration. Which will be tomorow am. See what they say about it. Dang I really want the gun just not sure if Im going to get it now. Well hope you enjoy your gun. And keep your fingers crossed for me that I will get mine.Kidd

I got a pretty good price, as the bluing is not quite as crisp as it looks in the scan; it is about 75%. It doesn't have many worn areas but is fading a bit to plum in places. Also, markings are clear but faint. Bore and innards are A1 though, and grips show their age but no scratches or abuse. I gave $125 for it plus tax. Guy wanted to move some of last year's inventory to make room for new stuff and had it marked down from $175. I had it apart yesterday to oil and grease it and will shoot it as soon as I get my range renewal papers- should be here any day. What attracted me to this piece is that it is the first pistol since my Luger which I have found to fit my hand like a glove. Good luck on getting your piece, you might want to try going to the buyer/seller dispute page and requesting his contact info including phone number.
