What a weekend - My Brother-in-Law is insane. He decides that he will take His 2 boys, my boy, the neighbors 2, and a friends 3 kids (Ages all below 12) camping over their Canadian Memorial Day. He inlisted some help, but I worked Friday night, did not get there until Sat afternoon. The other 2 Dads came on Sun. Most of the Kids had been or going through safety courses but we had a few first timers. The other 2 Dads got to shoot my 22-250 and a .357 (Their first time with a handgun). We had a blast. They were amazed at what a 22-250 would do to a can of Pork&Beans at 100yrds. More Canadian converts - just tryin to do my part !!!!!

Yeah - they wanted to fish too - go figure. I only have 1 .22 and I had to do most of the reloading. I could give you a bunch of excuses, but you are right "lack of ammo"

Several years ago a friend of mine saw that one of the local mart stores was having a sale on 22's. $8.00 a carton. He asked his wife if she would pick him up a carton? She agreed and when she got back from the store he asked her where the 22's were? She said they were in the trunk of the car because it took her and the saleslady both to put them in the car and she couldn't lift them out by herself.

How many 22's in a case?

Bluetic--just wondering if you were shooting in Canada? I have been told that in order to target shoot, had to get a permit with a time stated and had to have gun back in your home under that time period.

"It was like that when I got here".

4wheeler - no - we were shooting up on Mt. Baker here in US. Their laws up there suck worse than ours. Talking of specials on .22s - I bought a brick of Winchester Wildcats for $9.50 and I swear almost every other time I reloaded I would have one hang in the reciever or missfire. I had a box of cci Minimax - never had a problem.
