Why is it that I can't see some pictures

I see a gun that I would like to look at and when I go to the item the picture is a little square with and "x" in it. I thought it was my computer, but the one I have at work is the latest thing out with all the bells and whistles and I can't see them on it either. Could it be that there is a program than I can download to where I can see these? Does anybody else have this problem?

Sure, everybody has the same problem but it is usually because of the original posters having picture hosting problems.

Occasionally you can get the picture to come up by right clicking on it, then selecting (show picture).

I have found that sometimes there is a conflict between Gunbroker and Guns&Ammo's picture hosting code. If you right-click on the place where the picture should be, and check its Properties, you will find the picture's address as it got posted. You may find a double HTTP address -- two in a row. If so, highlight the whole thing with your mouse and copy the text, paste it into your browser's Address box and edit off the first address, so that the picture address begins with the second http://. It may be that you will be able to access the picture that way. I have had some success with that.

Right Click the X and Left Click "Show Picture" sometime it works sometimes it don't.
If that doesn't work try below.
Next Right Click the X and copy and paste the to your browser and Press Enter.

Rugerniner is right -- but before you click Go, LOOK AT the address (URL) and see if it makes sense. You may be able to figure out what's wrong with it by looking. Chances are, a pic that won't show up on your page won't show up by using your browser to go to it either. In the GB auctions that are shared with G&A, there has been a widespread problem in the past with double URLs in the auction photos. In order to see the pics under those conditions, you had to figure out what they MEANT the address to be, and delete the extra portion.
