Got my new COMBAT HANDGUNS today -- .32 NAA??

At first I couldn't figure out why the NAA Guardian .32 was back on the cover along with the new Kimber Ultra Ten II. But I finally got a good look at the magazine tonight and realized we have another necked down hyper velocity caliber to go along with the .357 Sig, this one developed with CorBon's help -- now it's essentially a necked-down .380 that sends a 60-grain .32 out at 1222 fps (100 fps faster than +P .380) and 192 foot-pounds. It's called the .32 NAA. Hmmmmm.

Maybe the best thing about it other than the size and the obvious similarity to a Seecamp is the fact that the DA trigger pull is only 10 lbs., my idea of an ideal maximum for a DA carried with chamber loaded. Cap is 6+1. And to think I almost bought a Guardian in .380..... Heheheheheh!

An answer for a question that never needed asking. Just another mouse gun the world does not really need.

Don't forget people laughed at the .40 Short & Weak and the .357 Sig too. Of course, NAA doesn't have the rep of S&W or Sig, but CorBon does, and it's hard to overlook a new caliber in a class where so many people now question the power of the .32 and .380 for defense. It could wind up replacing both in the pocket gun category (best case scenario.)

At the moment, this is now the most powerful Seecamp sized pocket gun in the world. Of course, in a world where the 9mm is now returning to its earlier status as a questionably marginal round for defense, with so many people putting the .40 into their 9-sized guns, maybe it will be too little too late. We'll see.

rugster--many said the same about the .17 HMR. Now gun stores can't seem to keep rifles chambered for this cartrige on the shelf. However, I will admit that this does seem a bit absurd. When it comes to mouse guns (IMHO) the difference between one and the other is like the difference between a 9-iron and a pitching wedge on the golf course. I think the .32 and the .380 are two well-established mousers that are not likely to be replaced by the next greatest thing anytime in the near future.

Isn't there an old saying: "Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door?" Isn't it about time these mouse guns got an upgrade? With necked-down carts being the new rage, I'll be interested to see what happens to this one. Heck, I'm already putting it on my long list.
