does the .45 Firestar make up for the dc of the PD in you opinions??i should note that i'm thinking about picking up a second Firestar..so i'm biased.

    Sorry, dc? Can't think what that stands for. The Firestar is a different system in my view; the Star PD is much more like a small 70-Series 1911, but lighter with some alloy... I wouldn't consider these two guns all that comparable, but that's just me.

    The Star PD is the best pistol Star ever made. They should have never quit making them.

    My new StarPD acquisition is cleaned, oiled and ready to load. Does anybody remember if there are any rounds it doesn't like? CCI Lawman, for example? (I realize I'll have to check any advice on my actual gun at the range, just looking for general knowledge here...)
