This has been news in the IT rags for about a month. Just in case you don't already know, here is some info you *should* know about KaZaA, especially if you are an enduser.

    old news i had kazaa but uninstalled it and run spyware removal program and down loaded kazza lite that has no spyware.

    I know where my beef comes from.do you know where yours comes from???....mexico,austraila,the UK,south america...???? dont know do you, demand country of origin labling for your food!!!!

    I agree with cowdoc. I don't give anybody permission to use my PC surreptitiously, so when I discover that they're doing it, all bets are off.

    KaZaA is a nice service. You can download a track of music you need to learn for a band, or a piece of software you want to learn. Main thing is to keep your virus checker running.

    Many hackers are on our side. They don't like KaZaA's spyware either. One of them created a website called www.kazaalite.com where you can get KaZaA software with the spyware disabled. Hurry though, somebody might knock them off some day. If you have any further doubts about spyware or adware on your computer, there is a program I use called Ad-Aware that does a search, notifies you, and will delete surreptitious programs. If this doesn't do the whole job, you can be sure hackers will write better programs to find and disable the rest.

    I'm glad hackers have finally found something patriotic to do with their talents. This, as far as I'm concerned, is good citizenship.
