After going back to the gun show this morning and finding ouit that the 5906 I was looking at was long gone, the same guy offered me a Tanfoglio TZ75 and a Star M45 for an even $300. The TZ75 had no magazine or case and in excellent condition but the M45 was in near mint with documentation. Anyone here familiar with either of these firearms? Was this an fair deal or did I get ripped once more?-smooth

I have personally owned both weapons. I liked them both very much. Paid $200.00 for the tz 8 years ago. Paid 275.00 for the m45 also 8 years ago. You can see that you have done well. Only drawback is finding mags for both, if you are sucessful in finding them you WILL pay dearly.

I'm kind of aware about that...or at least now I am. The magazines for the TZ75 are the same as the CZ75 right? -smooth

You probably saved $100 MINIMUM on the gun deal although the lack of mags is a wild card. Since these are older and currently less popular guns you may find mags not all that expensive from a mag-specializing dealer at another gun show. Otherwise, search the net for mag and/or surplus sites that have something in stock.
