Suggestion for commercial sellers

If you are a commercial seller with a store front and use the GB site to sell I have a suggestion. List your business phone number in the listing ad.I just received an "F" feedback from a seller that claimed he could not get in touch with me. I sent him two emails and neither was returned undeliverable so I can only assume he got them. From now on I will list my business phone number so no one will have an excuse not to be able to get in touch with me. I honestly believe the buyer changed his mind and this was his way out.I have worked hard on all my auction sites to maintain a good feeback rating and this really pisses me off. Sorry, but I'm upset. Thanks for putting up with me, Pel (ricks2 on GB and ricksgp on ebay)

Send an email to GB admin explaining what happened and see if you can get that black mark expunged. Send them a record of your outgoing emails. (You do keep your outgoing emails, right?) In my case, I have set up a filter against a lot of spam coming in, but sometimes it picks up an incoming email from a new person who uses a suspicious address known to be the source of a lot of spam, like yahoo.com or hotmail.com . Your seller might have something similar.

Hey Blade. I did send a message to admin about what happened and sent them a copy of the mail I sent the dude. Only other thing is he has one of those .ed addresses. Maybe it's at a school and someone deletes his mail before he gets it. I don't know. Still PO's me that he made no more effort than he did.I had a similar problem with an ebay auction where I couldn't get the seller and I used their system to get his phone and gave him a call. Fould out his ISP was down and he was very appreciative for my effort to contact him.

Pel --You may have a point about an email address problem. Also, some people have e-mail addresses that cause their mail to arrive in peolple's Bulk mail in-box when an anti-spam utility is on. It could be something like that too. Everyone should check new e-mail in his or her bulk mail inbox daily, just in case. I've had eBayers contact me and every time, their mail winds up in my Bulk mail box. I always think of that when I hear the "he never contacted me" thing. You might also see if you can use something like switchboard.com to find a phone number.
