Here's a little present for y'all. This photo is copyrighted and should not be further reproduced. (I'm confident they won't mind a bit of publicity on this board, though).

A pretty fair review. My guess is the hot front grip will be built up with attachments above and below in the Land Warrior config such that the user may not come in contact with it. On the other hand, the heat may mess with the electronics, so they'd do well to fix it. The range admits they hadn't cleaned the "k" version for the last several hundred rounds, so I can't take that part of the review quite as seriously, although an AK would continue to function under those conditions without cleaning. But he wasn't comparing this weapon to the AK, he was comparing it feature by feature to the M16 or M4.

I don't know what to tell you, Off. I have virtually no experience with HK rifles. I just thought you'd be interested in his review.

And I was interested, thanks. I appreciate it. The gentleman who wrote it is obviously a fan of Mr. Stoner's rifle and measures this new gun against that one, pro and con. He admits not to being a big HK fan in general, which means he's not giving any extra points. So I think it earned a pretty good review overall from a tough critic who doesn't even like the MP5 (!)
