I've finally made up my mind that I want a real nice leather holster for my Ruger SRH in 480 Ruger. Right now I carry it in an Uncle Mikes shoulder holster. I have been looking at the Rusty sherrick holsters at http://www.c-rusty.com does anyone have any experience with these holsters?

I like the one I use from Oklahoma Leather. Its the only one I could find that I could get to fit a 9.5" bbl. just by soaking it in water and letting it dry with the gun in it. Fits my SRH fine, it aint like a western rig, but it carries it great.

Wow. He has a wide selection for sure, and they do appear to be quality designs. I have found that you can tell overall quality of a holster brand with the first one you buy. It will tell you about leather thickness, quality, fit & finish, stitching strength. I'd say this guy is well worth your investment to find out. I love good leather gun accessories.
