The mini-glock and the full size kimber are two totally different beasts, though bother are fine weapons. The big advantage I like about the mini-glock is that if your an officer and carry a full size glock, you can carry the mini-glock in the same caliber for a backup, and if for some reason you loose your sidearm, you can go to your backup and it will accept the same magazines you have on your duty belt for your primary.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I like my model 26 just fine. Pretty accurate for a short-barrelled pistol and reliable as the sunrise. When I'm on the road on my bike I usually have my 26 in my inside jacket pocket and my 17 with 19-round mag in my saddlebags.

I have my G27 with Trijicons with me all the time because I CAN, with +1 extenders for a full fingered grip. I keep hi-cap tactical mags on reserve. This is my primary handgun weapons system, despite the fact I also own a lovely Star PD with spare mags, and a PT145 with spare mags.

I cannot recommend the PT145 too highly though either. This amazing gun gives you 10+1 rounds of .45 ACP in a gun identical in size to the G27, and which fits some of my G27 holsters. I consider the PT145 an excellent "buy" since the prices came down recently.

It's the Taurus Millennium model in .45 ACP caliber. Sorry.

Thanks, man. I'll have to check them out. I've been a Taurus fan for quite a while. Bought my wife a model 85CH .38 snubbie years back. She's shot the hell out of it and it's just as tight as the day it was new. I think Taurus is now where Ruger used to be. They build a damn fine gun but are just starting to get the respect they deserve.

Very cool. Expect to give between $329 and 369 for one new. The only drawback is they only come with one mag, and they retail on the high side, $35. The best way I've found to remedy that is to go to a gun show and trade one of the mag specialists a mag you don't really need any more for a new Taurus spare.

A Glock model 22 and Glock model 27 make for a good pair. Carry two pistols on rare ocassions, but feel very comfortable with this configuration.

That's okay, I don't like reloads either. I always use factory ammo, so it's not an issue with me.

Your only hope of defeating an opponent with a Glock is not to attempt to shoot the gun out of his hand like in Hollywood. You're much better off going for the boiler room and hoping he goes down before he gets a reliable hail of hi-cap rounds off at you.

When are you guys going to get the fact that the 9MM is a lousy bullet, the only reason it has been adobted is because it is easy to teachsomeone to shoot 9MM.The Military is now gripping about it, BUT, they ccried and cried until they got this one and how they going to get out of the 9MM? The least, THE VERY LEAST, one should carry in a pistol is .38 Super, but .45 auto is better. If you say you can't shoot the .45 but you can shoot the 9MM, you're just folling yourself, no one else.

I feel 100% protected carrying my Glock full of 115 gr. JHP +P ammo. If some badass walks through those, I doubt anything short of a 12 gauge slug would've brought him down.

Just my two cents, but I agree with SUBMARINER. The only Taurus semi-auto pistol I've ever owned (PT140 Millenium Edition) was a piece of crap. I sold it at a loss just to get rid of it. It may look like a Glock but it SURE doesn't work like one.

Stay away from the Taurus semis, the revolvers are nice though.

One thing I am NOT is closed minded. I will keep in mind your reviews of the Millennium. Perhaps I can do better. Nor do I want to lead somebody else astray on a gun purchase, because when they really need it, it had by God better well work. I guess the awards the design won must have been for being "pretty"?

I have owned a Glock 26 since late 1995. It is a Great little firearm, very accurate and controllable with Silvertips. I have let several people fire mine over the years and at least five of them have either purchased one or a G27.

I liked glocks before now that I carry a g17 I like them more. Must buy a glock soon.

I currently use a G27, but I'm starting to miss a .45 Glock. I've had a 21 and a 30 in the past. Could be a good deal on a used 21 would convince me to grab one again. I liked that full sized pre-ban.
