Sako Tikka differences?

I have read great things about Sako/Tikka rifles. I note a significant price difference between these two cousins. Can anyone point out the differences.I would like to do this myself but needless to say, you can't expect to walk into a dealer and see the entire line-up.I am looking for a new lightweight deer rifle in a synthetic stock and blued barrel in a .308.Tikka master synthetic looks good. What makes the scope mounts so expensive for these rifles?

Tika is owned by Sako(pronounced Sock-o).Sako is owned by Beretta. Which Sako action are you looking at?Tika action is easily compared to the Remington 700 action, but with improvements, ie. a "700 Improved".Stocks; Sako little more rigid(synthetics),Barrels; both hammer forged,Scope mounts; both integeral with Sako tapered(more technically correct), Tika straight. Both great design & super strong.Bolts; both two lug (except new model), Tika doesn't have a non rotating bolt guide(Tika stronger).Tika based on more modern design, and machinery, so it does cost less to make.Ring cost depends on the kind your looking at. If their own design, it is a copy of Burris Signature, which is the best design available in the industry( next to my own).
    Happy Bullet Holes!

I currently have a .308 Remington semi so I was thinking of keeping the same calibre for reloading. The .308 comes with M595 action.I could look at a 30-06 in M695 action for a little variety.
