Yeah, saxophone player did say that on an MTV interview. I cant help but think that he intentionally said that to get under the skin of freedom lovers.
It gets across the exact opposite sentiment of Ben Franklin, paraphrased "those who give up freedom for temporary safety, deserve neither." And considering all pro gun folk like to cite that quote, I think it is safe to say thatSlicks intention was to give something to the pro gun crowd to jaw about.

"Sometimes the people have to give up some individual rights for the safety of society."
    -Bill Clinton(MTV interview)

It's been driving me nuts (a short trip, I know) to remember where I saw your "Toujours Pret" (always ready) before.

It just came to me......it was the motto of my first car. It was a 1949 Frazier with a beautiful full color emblem on the hood with those words on it.

Now that I rememered where I saw it, I can sleep at night, LOL.

I thought you might like to see a picture of my propane heater. It's a small one 10,000 BTUs and will heat with ease 300 square ft.I have it in my den which is about 14X15' it does a great job.
Forgot to say it does not have a fan but has a thermostat.I bought it from Harbor Frieght in Jan 03 cost $129.00 and it cost $119.00 for the gas co. to hook it up.
Here in Maine they do not charge rental for their tanks as long as you buy your gas from them.
The heater is 14" wide ,19" tall and 6" deep at the bottom tapers to 4" at the top.
    Hope this helps.

Rugster, in another thread you mentioned some missile defence systems. For those of us who would like to know, please expound. I have heard of the space system, but have no idea how far along it is. The sea system is a new one. If you would, more information and sources would be appreciated.

"I know a sea based system is operational, and been tested severall times and worked.I would not be surprised to say the space defense system is much further along than we know."

    Thanks

$-Wheeler and Rugster, Just went back and showed this stuff to a couple of my gunsmith buddies kids. They laughed until their sides hurt!! We had been working on the hunting lease land today and during a break shot a couple groundhags. They just got a video camera and lamented that they didn't bring it! There were 2 "CLASSIC" 17HMR hits that you could see through the spotter that would have been great videos. Not super explosive, just DRT head shots! Will try to get some and load them. GHD
