All 10's!!! The 17HMR doesn't produce this kind of acrobatic displays. But if you've got a good scope you can see them swell to about twice normal size and then deflate!! The 22-250 and especially the 25-06 produces these kind of reactions on groundhogs!! I can't wait to test the 257WSM with 90 grain Positive Expanding Point Winchesters or 87 grain Reminton Power-Lokt Hollow Points! GHD

They are using a .22br shooting a 40 grain V-Max at 4040 fps. Its a wildcat that I never heard of untill now.

7mm, It ain't no wildcat!! It's been out there for several years!! Remintons answer to the 22PPC! Quite a varmint cartridge! The 6mmBR is also impressive and if anybody in management of the big gun companies had any sense they'd commercialize the 7mmBR and bring it out in rifle form! A finer eastern whitetail round would be hard to find! GHD

See, I learned something new! He was talking about it being a wildcat and since I have never heard of it I just assumed it was recent. I have heard of the 7mmBR but not the .22. He says it is a 6mmBR necked down to .22, sounds awsome, I may need to get one!!

7mmnut, I was mowing millet and beans this evening for a neighbor and the 1470 Mower Conditioner from John Deere is an awsome varmint machine!! I had a groundhog run out of the tall stuff and when he saw the tractor he turned and ran right back under the front curtain! UGLY UGLY UGLY!!! And he deprived little Miss GHD(Sarah) of another choice 17 target! Five minutes later his neighbor, Mr. Skunk, made the same mistake!! Bad move for Mr. Skunk and bad move for me cause I had to smell that mess for a while!!! GHD

7mmnut, Just how interested are you in a 7BR? Might know where you could get one!! They are impressive!! Confirmed groundhog kills to 376 yards in pistol form!! With Holosight!! Don't know what might be possible with scope! Kind of like Eddie Murphy said in "Trading Places" "Once you try it ou'll never go back". GHD
