    Ya gotta send the pic to a pic host. be it your own web page or one that lets you store pics, Ya gotta have a URL addy to post it in here

    Your picture wound up with two server addresses in it. You don't need the part about http://forums.gunbroker.com/. Edit the message to delete that portion of the text. You need one complete http:// address, but two is one too many.

    I have seen the GB address show up in picture addresses that were Guns & Ammo auctions, and in your case the GB address showed up at the beginning of your www.alloutdoorschat.com picture address. I wrote G&A about it a while back. None of their auction pictures was showing up for me, because they all had double http:// addresses for a while.

    I have a feeling that extra code pops in there sometimes when pages are published. I find that when I edit my posts I'm better off to delete the image code and insert it fresh before saving. I also find it easier sometimes to just substitute HTML image code when the Forum code acts up.

    For those that do not know.Instead of trying to TYPE the address for the pictures, have 2 windows open. One here and one with the picture. In the picture window go to the top of the screen and click on "view" then "toolbars" then "address bar" then you click inside that address bar to "highlight" the address. Then with your mouse still in the address window (right) click and then "copy". Or use "edit" and "copy" Then you can come here and at the top, use "edit" and "paste" the address between the (insert image) icons, it is easier than typing and no mistakes in the address.Hope this helps.Another place that is easy to use and will host a limited number of your pictures for auctions, or for here, and is free is; http://www.ranchoweb.com

    pickenup,thanks I may try that next time I post a picture.Sometimes I have a real problem with copying numbers and letters either by typing or writing,I kmow what I am writing but it gets switched around and if I do not proof-read it then it goes all wrong.
