    Yea, I'll miss him. Every time I have to pay an exhorbitant price for a high cap magazine... May he burn in Hell.

    Reloader, maybe you should show a little respect for the dead, even if you did not agree with some of his actions. Your type of remarks are one of the reasons gun owners are seen as insensitive, uncaring, uneducated louts who are a danger to society.

    Reloader;

    You ought to do a little research before you open your mouth. Bill Ruger wanted 15 round mags as a compromise to outlawing high cap rifles like his Ranch Mini-14 and Mini-30.
    It was someone else who took it down to 10. If it wasn't for him there may not be any AK47's around. Glock at the time was coming out with a 17 round mag, so he was also trying to save his Popular P-Series Guns.

    What an innovative guy to start in a garage not that many years ago (compared to the giants in the industry) and give the grass roots shooters affordable high quality alternatives. (single shot rifles, .44 carbines for 80 bucks, great .22 pistols, affordable over/unders). You know, just good stuff for the average guy. Thats what I think when I see "Ruger".

    25-06, I'm wondering if you'd have said the same thing if it was Sarah Brady, rather than Bill Ruger? I don't necessarily agree with Reloader but as far as I'm concerned, he's entitled to his opinion.

    Someone once said that Bill Ruger is the Sam Colt of the 20th century. He might be gone but he is always by my side, infact, Bill and I are going to take care of a groundhog this afternoon that has seen fit to dig up the corner of the yard.

    Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

    Reloader is Crude. Of course that's just my opinion. But, then again, according to green lantern I'm entitled to it.

    I liked William Ruger. Sorry to see him pas away. But I think it OK for anyone to bad mouth the dead. I used to think it was in bad taste but not anymore. Some dead people deserve to be bad-mouthed. If Clinton passed away I'd still bad-mouth him. And I wouldn't care what other people thought of my opinion.

    SAAMI signed on to the deal at the time for the 15 round mags, had some other names in there.

    check out pp16, before you drop it all in Bills lap, if you are of the mind to boycott Ruger the list just got longer.

    Met Mr. Ruger at the S.H.O.T. show in Atlanta some years back very likeable man, knew guns, loved to talk guns, His or anyone elses, I do not think He deserves an ill informed braying * to wish Him into Hades. So, before the Sun drys your layer of slime, why don't you crawl back under your rock.

    I have to agree with the folks dumping on Reloader. The ban on hi-caps is pretty pointless and likely has saved no lives whatsoever, but wishing a man's soul to Hell for all eternity for accepting it is downright scary. I save my worst curses for those with true evil in their hearts, not for those who play a small role in creating a relativly minor, or for that matter, a major, inconvenience.

    Reloader,

    Hopefully you got the message, and what this forum thinks about your completely 'uncalled for' comment. You need to learn two things, first get your facts right, second keep your comments to yourself.
