Yup, sure would, and I do it all the time. CCW is an illegal statute that infringes on the rights of individuals to protect themselves. It is nothing more than the government sanctioned registration of handguns and an additional means of extorting money from its citizenry.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

I think I'd choose a judicious answer of:

I do all the time. Here in VA it is called open cary and it is legal. As long as the everyday man walking pass can tell it is a gun and you are 21 years of age. I know I am working on my ccw permit now but in the mean while this will do.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

Well Kansas doesn't have a provision for CCW ... but if I feel the need ... no comment!

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

We have open carry here. I can have a loaded pistol on my front seat.
I can carry just about anywhere as long as it is in the open. Until we get a Republican governor we will not have CCW in Missouri. Until then
lots of people will CCW when necessary.

I have a CCW here in Indiana, but I looked at that poll question, thought of my years in Los Angeles, and voted "Yes."

    That's just the problem.

At the same time they're making the penalities for carrying a handgun without a CCW even more ruthless, they are making it even more difficult and expensive to GET a CCW!

So all I can say is, damn those Liberal sumbishes!

I don't CARRY, but I do keep one with ammo in the trunk in case I break down in a 'less than hospitable' neighborhood.

Don't worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the fragmentation grenade addressed 'To Occupant'.

Whenever I'm camping, fishing, at the beach, walking in the woods, etc. otherwise it's legally (in my state) concealed in a locked briefcase or in a car trunk.

I loved visiting VA. I loved the feel of that Blackhawk on my hip wide out in the open. It felt strangely...umm...what's an appropriate term for this forum.....

South Carolina was great too. I am not from SC but the freedom to have a loaded gun in the car in a closed compartment (i.e. glove compartment or center console) was very nice.

It doesn't bother me to see Governor Ventura give up politics because he was a bit of a loose cannon. However, he was one hell of a champion for gun rights in that state. It was so close the last time a CCW law was voted on in the Minnesota legislature.

Williams 81: Good answer. In NJ it is the same thing. ALL of NJ
is a safe place? I also have 20 aces of shore front property just off the coast, is underwater but for sale at the right price. Make a
offer, but cash only, no terms, no lawyers.

I have a permit to carry in Pennsylvania. I often have to go to New York City, and Camden New Jersey. These are not nice places, and you bet I at least have a pistol in my car. If I am in a real bad area, I will carry on my person where the man says I am not allowed to do so.
