I know that this should probably go into another topic or forum, but i thought that i would give you all the first crack at it. The offer will go to the first person that replies. My old man bought me some 7mm mauser cases thinking that i could size them down to fit into my 257 ackley, well they don't. The heads keep ripping off, plus i just ordered a bunch of 257 roberts cases off of the internet that will work much better. Here is the deal. I have approx. 250 nickel plated 7MM MAUSER cases that i do not need and who ever wants them needs to contact me FIRST. They are free with no postage or anything. I just need to get rid of them.songdog

OK, now that I got my reply in first, here is a more heart felt reply. Songdog, I'd be happy to take them off of your hands. I have one gun out of my military collection that I have made a sporter stock for that I like to shoot for target and hunting, and its my Brazillian 7x57. Shoot me an email and I'll give you my mailing address, thank you very much, Ryan.

As long as we are on the 'wrong' forum :never resize nickeled brass into something it wasn't made for to start with. As it is, they don't reload very many times. And, anealing would be a nightmare. Also, when you resize any more than just a few thousands, use anhydrous lanolin (about a buck for 2 oz.. enough to last you 2 or 300 shells at least). That "stuff" reloaders call 'sizing lub' isn't ment to be used when converting cartridges as it fails at about 15,000psi. Songdog, did you remove the sizer's depriming stem? That also would have contributed to the ripped heads.
