Tell us a little bit about that mandolin/banjo (bandolin? manjo?[:D]).

How old is it? Did Grandpa buy it new? What is the brand name? Gun totin' musicians want to know.[:p]

I don't know much about it. It was found in my Grandfathers basement after he had passed away. I haven't been able to find any writing or manufacturing markings on it to know where (or when) it was made.
I'll quiz my mother a bit more on it, and maybe spend some time searching the internet for answers.
I think its a pretty cool instrument though.

    Here's some discussion about them.

You should e-mail your photo to these guys (Folk of the Wood). I'll bet they could tell you what make it is and approx. how old.
