Yup, I agree with 22WRF. Put a bunch in a film canister or empty chewing tobacco container and you've got a virtually waterproof source of excellent firestarter. I have a few of these in my backpack and hunting gear bags.

Yup, when in my 'mountain man mode' many years ago used it with flint and steel for firestarter. 0000 steelwool works great too.

ditto on firestarter. I got a seperate pale that I throw my dryer lint in. I have enough to start a big fire.

How about packing for low power reloads. I not suggesting, just asking if it would be viable.

A good use for dryer lint is deer hunting. If you have someone you really hate do this before deer season. Put the dryer lint in 4-6 socks. Now hang the dryer lint/socks from some bushes in a 50 yard perimeter around his deer stand. It'll will give you a better chance of a buck coming through your area than his.

While we are on the subject of Dryer Lint, a lot of House Fires are started because the Exhaust Vent Tube has never been cleaned out.
All the lint does'nt stay in your Lint Trap. You have to check the Hose once in a while.

Well guys, I always try to leave as much pocket lint on the counter in DMV. Just seems like it's the right thing to do , after all that waiting and harassment, you owe them more than your time.

You can compost it (even synthetic fibers), give it to the birds for nest material, give it to grade school art classes for craft projects.

Pan fried cat, seasoned just right, served on a bed of DRYER LINT!!
White wine or lite beer goes best with this dish!!
