Had an auction running with the "buy it now" feature. The auction ran a total of 8 hrs and a bidder utilized this feature and the auction closed with him of course as the winner. He then emailed and said wasn't buying it after all as found same item cheaper elsewhere, ($2) cheaper...BIG savings. Anyway I scolded him a little as I was charged a final value fee and he didn't want to pay back. He didn't realize the consiquence of the whole thing, I filed an NPB to get my final value fee back which was bad for him because with GB's new system, 1 more and he's out. You know this EXACT same thing just happened to me on another site, I used "buy it now", and then found the same item at bn.com cheaper with free shipping. I personally am going to complete the auction as I'm the one that didn't take the time to check elsewhere before placing my bid. The bottom line if you're gonna play you gotta pay.

    If I don't do my homework and spend too much for something,that's MY fault,not the sellers.My sense of fair play wouldn't let me back out,too much pride.I say burn em.

    Yeah, this 2 strikes you're out is a good system. There will be some that don't care anyway, they're just playing... but the majority I think will care.

    It's a shame that a persons word means nothing anymore. I was always taught to be honest and fair with people and your word is your bond!

    SXSMAN, Yeah I think I'm gonna leave a comment as any future seller deserves to know what kind of people he's dealing with, whatta ya bet I get a revenge comment left on me! But you know with a 60 A+ rating compared to his "NR" most sensible buyers will see who screwed up. This guy compared me to the company who had the other item, a multi million dollar company that sends associates all over the world hunting this stuff up! If I could do that I'd sell cheap too! But I usually only find 1 of any given item and sell accordingly. What makes this cat look foolish is he used the buy now feature, then bargain shopped. He initially jumped my a@@ for selling too high! Moron from the word go! I listed the BN price at what I gave for it too! But hey he saved $2....
