I have been extremely disappointed in Scott Ritter of late. A few years ago, he was hailed by Congress as a whistle blower, characterizing the inspections in Iraq, as thwarted by Saddam, a "failure." Joe Biden tried to berate him for it, but other congressmen hailed him as heroic for standing up and calling a spade a spade in terms of the inspectors being given the run-around by Hussein's military police.

Now he's over in Iraq acting like a classic double agent. Today, we find that he has been paid $400,000 by an American Iraqi with ties to the Iraqi government. As far as I'm concerned, Ritter has been "turned." I'll stop short of calling him a traitor because I don't know all the details, but if he has accepted $400,000 from an Iraqi to go over there and create problems in the media, I don't know what else to call him but "sold out." I defended him when Biden said he was "making decisions above his pay grade" for quitting over non-compliance. But now he's acting like an *. Soon he'll be employed by one of the cable channels, you just watch. But he's discredited in my book.

I think he's a traitor, and if he thinks it's so safe over there why doesn't he just move his sorry * on over there! 400 grand will go a long way there!

And while he's there, let him suffer the consequences of a daisy cutter!

Lurker, I asked my self the same question a few days ago. People that don't like the policy of the US...why do they still live here. My best guess is that they are just the scum of the Earth and suit no other purpose other than to piss off everyone in this country.

Just look at all the hippie types all over the country...they would be happy over on the other side of the pond. they can just hop to a differnt country whenever the mood strikes them. they want drugs, they can go to amsterdamn or any other place that crap is legal...they want to be free of guns (legal ones anyway) they can go to England. They are only here to piss off the good folks of this country.
