Does anyone else have the same pathetic service as I do from AOL? I'm really getting tired of all their commercials telling me how great their service is. After numerous phone calls to them it still isn't any better.

AOL is also notoriously ANTI-GUN/ANTI-2nd AMENDMENT,every dollar you give to AOL goes in the pocket of an anti-gun lobbyist.

I have had no problems with them since I quit them over 7 years ago. Best move I ever made.I do get emails from AOL users that the message body is a blank. That can be solved by using my netscape mail view source to read it.

The NRA is now offering an ISP for about $19.95 per month. Use goggle to find the link.

RugerNiner, I think that the RoadRunner high-speed Internet service is available in Jacksonville, FL. At least they were when my brother lived down there. I've been using broadband at home for a couple of years now, and I'm telling you IT'S A LOT BETTER than dial up!

Outdoors.net is $20/mo w/ $1 of that donated to the organization of your choice - I didn't bother to read past 'NRA' but there were a slew of them. They have local access everywhere in the country & I've had very good service from them.

Former AOL subscribers...GOODBYEGOODBYESound familiar? One time I took count of how many times I got kicked offline... 7 times in 1 hour. Where those... people (i use that term loosely) use the money we sent them is a mystery to me.

I have Bellsouth Fastaccess, and haven't had a problem since they installed it. I had AOL for a couple of years before and hated every minute of it. If you can afford the added expense (not much difference if you have a second phone line dedicated for internet) I highly suggest a broadband connection.Dial up $20Extra phone line $20 (minimum after tax and stuff)Broadband connection...priceless (just kidding, about $40)it really makes no sense when, you do the math, to put up with the hassles of dial up. I also read a thread here about a new satalite ISP called StarBand, I hear they are pretty good as well. They can service you just about anywhere. www.starband.com [This message has been edited by pikeal1 (edited 01-29-2002).]
