Had a GREAT day today!!

Man, I don't think my day could have been any better!!! I went to my uncle's house this morning and we did a little shooting. I had my Glock 35 and my brand new Kahr P-45. That little .45 is something else!! Truly a great shooter. After spending a couple of hours with my uncle, I left there and went to visit my Grandmother. She and I spent the entire afternoon just sitting around talking and looking through some of my late grandfather's tools and fishing equipment. My grandfather passed away in 2003. As we were going through some of his stuff today, she gave me a BUNCH of his shotgun shells. About half of them were rusted, but some are still OK. There were even some paper shells (12ga) in the bunch. Then, she gave me his entire arrowhead collection! Granddaddy had always told me that when he died, he wanted me to have them. I was not in a hurry to get them, though. I just figured my grandmother would give them to me when she got ready. It was nice to get the collection, but what meant even more to me, was just spending the afternoon with "Granny". My 4 year old son and I are going to take her out to lunch tomorrow. Hope I'm not getting too sappy in here, but I JUST HAD A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Spend some time with your Grandma for me as well. I don't have any grandparents left, so buy her a piece of pie on me. With ice cream if she wants it. Tell her I know it does not taste like the homemade pies that she is famous for making.

I put on a new mower blade and sparkplug and it was so satisfing to cut the grass smooothly w/o stalling the engine.
