Spare Change

Well, I emptied out my "spare change" jugs, rolled the coins, and deposited 'em in my savings account.

I never would have guessed it -- $2,650 (rounded up) in coins!

So how should I spend it? My first inclination is to NOT spend it. Second is to get a new safe, third is an M1-A.

Give me some ideas. If you had a spare $2600 sitting around, what would you do with it?

I would agree with dano, then when it is full again your M1a will have a nice safe bed to sleep in when it comes home.

    mdcac,

i too face this delima. i have a coin box that when full usually come out to around 400 bucks. oh by the way it overflowing. i keep thinking new pistol or apply it towards a good safe. i am leaning towards the safe. i am accumlating to many guns to have hidden in my closet. i try not to keep too many here but rather store them in dads safe. problem is that i live in an apartment and i am not sure the floor could support a 1300 pound safe. my advice would either be to invest it or buy safe and protect you investment. or give to the poor ie me.

Buy, if possible, a good gun safe first. Then you will not have to worry about them going away with that badman.
Question: Does you apartment allow water beds? If it does then the floor will support a gun safe. Water bed with 200 gallons of water
    = about 1600 lbs.

You could open a online trade account and invest it.

I opened one with $500, invested in Carmax (KMX) when it was worth $5 a share, and now, it's worth $30 a share. That was $2500 of free money. Of course there is risk to lose it but.... imagine the possibilities...
