Need help from the movie guys

There was a movie on the other night that I'm trying to find out what the name of it was so I can get it and watch it.
I only caught bits and pieces of it, the part I remember that caught my eye was this, he appeared to be a professor and a 2nd supportor, he was taking a class on a tour of a place that had a shooting between the feds and homeowners over guns. He talked about how the kids was shot and the person who they wanted was not even home when the shooting broke out. I only saw about 5 minutes of it thanks to my KIDS. I cannot name the actor but I did see him before in an older movie with Robin Williams in which Robin was some sort of a nutcase and this actor was a talk radio host, that movie was the "Fisher King". Does anyone have a clue as to what the name of that movie is? I would realy like to see it in its entirety if I can find it. Like I said it seemed to be a pro gun movie with some good controversy.
