I found this interesting. Chetek is my hometown and the Waterhouse's are well known around town.

whooo . . . kind of scary. I know nothing about this. Is it something which can be avoided by doing the 'well done' routine?

I lost my taste for deer meat a long time ago. Always have someone who wants to take my harvest. I killum and you grillum.

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

If you read the article you will see that it skirts around without directly atributing the deaths to CWD. not only is there no proof of any CWD infected deer giving anyone KJ but there are no cases of CWD in Buffalo or the surrounding counties of Wi. Colorado has lived with CWD for 30+ yrs without a return of the plague. This is turning out to be another event whipped into a frenzy by the media to sell papers. We need to be careful about what we read.
