The guy that did mine was way ahead of his time (in 1964), did it the same day I cut it. What they called it at the time was micro surgery and pretty revolutionary, Hollywood plastic surgeon, friend of my Dads. I pretty much shredded mine with a chain saw.
Pretty much routine now. Hope it all works out well for you.
