With another war in the Middle East oil will soar.

This is essentially a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran. The Saudis have intentionally dropped the price of oil to drive Iran into the poor house, you just might see the prices drop further. It is part of an economic war against Iran.

I hear SA had not tried to keep oil high but didn't know it was a plan against Iran. Not sure how much effect SA can have on prices given US production is way up recently. But any unrest and it goes up.

There are plenty of articles on the subject, that OPEC is squeezing Iran by keeping oil low. The Arab nations are all afraid of Iran and her expanding influence.

"Iran needs to sell oil at $140 per barrel. This point is surely not lost on Saudi Arabia. Keeping the price of oil at $70 per barrel will have a devastating effect on the Iranian economy and, before long, will lead to unrest and violent protest."

Last week it was $269.9 in PA. I went to the Seneca Reservation it was $232.9 a savings of 37 cents a gallon. I use 2 gallons up and and back BUT I refuse to use anything sold at any United Refining stores even a soda. They have a captive market. The same gas sold 70 miles away is 10-20 cents less per gallon. The reason they say is local gas is fresher. That's how STUPID some people are. Stop buying and the price will plummet.
All I know is they aren't getting anywhere near my 30 gallon tank. I saved 11.10 and use 1 gallon on the way back savings of $8.78 and the satisfaction of not feeding that PIG.

It's been $2.39 here for the last 2 weeks, so probably $2.39.

No idea what it will cost tomorrow. I filled up yesterday at 2.199 at the Sam's Club pumps, so I've some time yet to find out.

The size of this Saudi operation is impressive. It had to have been in the planning stages for some time. They have ten Sunni Muslim nations, a couple hundred aircraft, naval support from Pakistan. The complexity of the strikes show they have had American intelligence provided in the planning, they simply lack the resources to have targeted so many enemy military resources so well.

Now there is talk of 150,000 Saudi ground forces, possibly with Egypt joining a ground war.

The war is against Iran. No way Saudi Arabia will tolerate an Iranian-Shia puppet government in Yemen. Not even one that is merely Iranian influenced. The Sunni-Shia schism is too great.

The low crude price I think serves two needs for Saudi Arabia. It harms Iran and it harms USA / Canadian oil producers.

You forgot the $5 cup of coffee at Starbuck's.

Now and then I buy a $0.67 to $0.89 bottle of water at the Sam's Club snack bar. I keep it for the snap-close cap. Refill many times from the filtered water pitcher in my refrigerator.

I never buy Starbucks coffee. I tried some of their "dessert" iced coffees some years ago. Okay, but too expensive.

I rarely buy a donut at the Quick Trip. Less often than that water bottle.

I suppose if you have a serious Starbucks and donuts addiction, the price of gas would be a smaller concern.

Well its gone up here about $.70 in the last couple of months. They say the latest hike is because of changing over to the summer blend.
