Just acquired this old Remington 141 got it for a real good price because it was drilled and tapped for scope mounting I plan on using this old gun for a upcoming hog hunt in Feb. chambered for 35 Rem

I wanna get one in .300 Savage, but seems whenever I would see a decent specimen, I didn't have the disposable income.
Now, just finding ammo in .300 Savage is problematic.
Had a 158 JHP pistol bullet, with Unique powder for plinking. It was fun.
Traded it to a friend for something that I can't even remember now, but I remember how cool that 141 was...............
Nice looking old Remington. It will serve you well and the 35 is also an excellent deer round with mild recoil.
But not in a Thompson Center Contender.[;)]
