I bowled my first 500 today

Darn I added it wrong I actually bowled a 499!!!!!!!arrrgh!!!!!!!!

    It's your total pin count for 3 games thus if he bowled a 499 he'd be averaging about 166 a game.

    ...The wife and I bowled on leagues at three different places over the years. Some were mixed couples, mens' or womens' leagues. I used to hold a 165 average, but Cathy held closer to 175 or 180. I quit when my back went south, but still got in a couple games this winter. Went from a 155 to a 97! Nope. Can't do it anymore.
    ...I broke 500 a few times and I should have quit right then and there.

    I have a 197 book average and I'm the worst guy on my team. We have a 7 man rotation so your not bowling every week. We don't have any substitutes so if you need a week off there's always an extra bowler around to fill in. Last year I bowled 24 weeks out of a 33 week season.

    ...That's how it worked on a dart team that I subbed for.
    Someone always had a reason why they couldn't make it.
    I got tired of the structure of having to be somewhere on a
    given night. Sometimes I just didn't feel like going.

    In my opinion 33 weeks is just to long of a season and on top of that I'm on call for snow plowing so before the seasons over I'll miss a few weeks because of that.
