Hey this doesn't happen every day

So I met my old college sweet heart on face book about a year ago. I haven't seen her since 1988. We were very much in love and spent 5 years together. I've been married 2x since then and she was marreid 1x and bought a house with a second man, so we have been around the block a few times. Tonight I went out and had dinner with her and some of her friends and family. She was celebrating being cancer free. It was fantastic. I always loved her family. The good old day were a long time ago but some days it feels like yesterday.

Had a similar thing happen to me about 10 years after we broke up. In other words I had a second chance but it didn't work out and never new why. I still think about her often and that was 30 years ago.
