Well, this guy learned the hard way:

"I no longer accept paypal as an option for paying. They have suspended my account for 180 days and have my money. They are likely going to take all of it. They will never see any more business from me. They are completely anti-gun and invade email accounts in search of people who are trading guns and gun paraphernalia."

I will give him credit for a true auction with a $0.01 start.

Evidently, there are many sellers that cannot understand the English language.

Closing an account is one thing, keeping someone money is another. Paypals racket should be stopped

I'ts the clause "certain firearm parts" where they fail to understand their own policy. Arbitrary, confusing and inconsistent application of policy is the rule. Avoid paypal, they will take your money, if not now, they will later.

Yep and usually the uinformed or not to bright buyer puts "Ammo" down on the Paypal invoice or "Harrys Guns" as the origin of purchase.

GB426, Your punctilious denunciations have become routine on the forum. You would make an excellent code enforcement officer. You know, someone who measures their neighbors grass and cites them when it is a half inch too long.

I'm sure their political contributions provide considerable protection from investigation.

They can't and won't keep the funds I don't believe. I heard the horror stories but have never heard of actually confiscating funds

He'll get his money back after a certain amount of time. They freeze it and make sure everything goes through the system before the money left in the account is returned. How ever it shouldn't take six months. After they froze my account I had to wait quite a while to get my $.47 back.
