Save what you're doing?

Is there any way to save a reply you are working on?
Spent the last 15 minutes replying to a post then lost it when the live fire target cat walked across my lap and brushed the tablet.

Can a reply or even a new post be saved partially through writing?

copy the text already entered into another application such as a word processor. Only way I know of.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

You beat me to it, Randy. [8D]

Some folks type the response in a word program, the C&P it in the block.

If you are going to write a mini novel, do it in a WP first, then copy and paste to the forum.

It's like the old red Big Chief writing tablet, only it uses electricity.

Do I need to explain electricity? [:D]

It won't help if you're concerned about the machine completely shutting down, but just highlighting and copying is a simple temporary save.

Nothing like pecking away on something, then hitting the POST button and finding that your connection had failed. [:(!]
