Its been along time, between me and my dad.
On the 14th we had to call the paramedic's, my dad has copd, he is 80 years old, he came down with pneumonia, then while he was having breathing problem, he had a heart attack, mild but still, then on the 19th they had to put him on ventilator at 100% ox. They gave us little hope if they could not get him off 100% ox. Well they have got him to 50%, but he is still sedaited.
He had a major heart attack in 02. Quad bypass. Even during that time he had a hard time with his lungs. The doctors called us for a family sit down, his lungs were in bad shape before the pneumonia, the pneumonia took a large part of already weak lungs. They had him on 4 meds trying to get the pneumonia in control, tonite his white blood count went from 18 to 37. He told us we don't have a chance. I went back to the hospital tonite, not knowing if he could hear me or not, I talked to him for hours. He did not leave a living will, so my sisters went out the the homestead, they found a letter in his strongbox, they were instructions in case he could not make any. He does not want to live on the ventilator. All we could do is pray for a miracle. Does not seem like we are going to get it.
Please keep him in your prayers
About a month ago, he knew he was having a rough time, he told me to take the guns and all his tools, he said my days of hunting and turning Wrench's are behind him.
After my mom passed in 07 he was lonely, ever since I left for the military we lost touch, during these last 2 month I have got to spend a lot of time with him. At least I've got that.

Would appreciate any and all prayers.

sounds like you doing well with all the good things going on now
Welcome back.
Sorry to hear about your husband.
Sorry to hear of your husband's passing
What happened to the Hogs this year, Susie?!!!!! [:D]
Sorry about the loss of your husband. Good that the family is growing and moving forward.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
